Project Brief (Requirements)
For this case study and my honours project, I used the most recent Bootstrap framework to create a website showing a user's digital carbon footprint. Using modern tools, I made an intuitive platform with a digital carbon footprint calculator using Javascript programming language.
With careful coding and design, the website offers a user-friendly interface that enables users to evaluate and reduce their environmental impact efficiently.
Typography Choices
I decided that the Poppins font, part of the sans-serif font family, would be perfect for my website about my digital carbon footprint. Its elegant, contemporary lines make it easier to read while expressing professionalism and reliability.
With its adaptability and clarity, Poppins guarantees a flawless user experience for your honours project.
Design Inspiration
To provide the best possible user experience, professionalism and minimalism are my top priorities when designing the digital carbon footprint website. My goal is to enable my audience to access essential information regarding their carbon footprint by utilising simple layouts and user-friendly navigation.
I created a JavaScript calculator that provides accurate waste and carbon emissions information while blending in with the design. These design decisions encourage my target audience to make educated decisions and be environmentally conscious.
